Glucose Control Testing

Confirming or selecting the test

strip lot

Once you have entered and confirmed the lot number of

the control solution, you are asked to choose the lot

number for the test strips. Compare the number dis-

played by the meter to the number on the label of the test

strip vial.

1 Select the lot number as follows:

■ To read the lot number from the test strip vial via

barcode scanner, touch . Follow the

instructions for scanning IDs. *

■ If you want to use the preselected lot number

displayed by the meter, touch to confirm.

■ To use a different lot number than the one

displayed, touch to display a list of stored lot

numbers. Select the desired lot number from the

list.

2 Touch to confirm the selected or scanned lot

number.

For additional information about storing lot numbers for

test strips, see page 61.

* Barcodes on test strips vials/control solutions may not

be available in all countries (see page 39).

The meter can be configured so that manual

confirmation is not necessary. In this setup, only the

lot number is displayed. Additional options are not

available.

The meter can be configured so that lot numbers are

entered via barcode scanner only. *

The meter can be configured so that lot numbers can

only be selected from a list.
