Prociency Testing

Applying a prociency sample

Once the meter has detected the test strip, you are

prompted to apply the prociency sample.

1 Wait until the ashing drop appears in the display

before applying the sample.

2 Apply a drop of sample to the front edge of the

test strip. Do not apply the sample to the top of the

test strip.

The sample is pulled into the test strip area by

capillary action.

Once sufcient sample has been detected, the meter

beeps and the measurement begins.
